  • Step 1: Enter data:

    • Fill in the Sloper Definition page to describe the sloper that you want

    • Enter your measurements in cm or in

  • Step 2: Create and print your sloper:

    • Preview your sloper from the Sloper Preview folder to generate the basic sloper pattern.

    • Print your sloper pattern

    • Cut & sew a test garment to see if you need to do any pinch-fitting for your unique figure.

    • If necessary, adjust your sloper pattern for any pinch-fitting changes that you made to the test garment. Tip: Slopers will gently fit anyone with the same height and measurements until pinch-fitting, which makes them unique

  • Step 3: Style the sloper into a fashionable pattern:

    • Style your patterns manually using either CADTERNS Lite or CADTERNS Pro

    • Style your patterns digitally using CADTERNS Pro with a CAD (Computer Aided Design) program (not included)

With as few as four measurements, CADTERNS enables you to draft personal slopers ready to print or plot for manual patternmaking or to import from a CAD program for digital patternmaking.

Styling personal slopers results in pre-fitted personal patterns that fit just as well as your sloper every time. Every home sewer can be a recreational stylist, fashion designer and personal patternmaker.

Now, that’s exhilarating!
